Why are fireplaces eco-friendly?

Wood is a renewable source of energy. As trees are harvested, new ones are planted to compensate for the losses. 1. Wood is, therefore, a sustainable fuel source that does not contribute to the depletion of natural resources and has been recognized as Renewable Energy (OZE) in the EU.
Less pollution. Unlike other fuels such as coal or heating oil, wood is biodegradable. While burning wood does produce carbon dioxide emissions, the amount emitted is roughly equivalent to the amount that trees absorb during their growth.
Wood offers independence and energy awareness. With wood-burning devices, we are responsible for heating our homes. We choose the supplier and the type of wood. We are independent of power grid failures or disruptions in distant countries (oil, gas).
Job opportunities in your area. Poland is one of the most forested countries in Europe, and wood harvesting is carried out in a planned and sustainable manner. The wood industry provides thousands of jobs in forestry, transportation, and trade.

However, it is important to remember to use a wood-burning fireplace properly to minimize pollutant emissions. Use only dry wood, do not burn waste materials, and regularly maintain the fireplace to ensure its optimal performance.
