Building warm fireplaces is what sets us apart. What exactly are warm fireplaces?
They are innovative heating solutions characterized by their ability to store and gradually release heat for many hours after the fire has burned out. The construction consists of a carefully chosen fireplace insert (firebox) along with encasing made of high-density ceramic materials that accumulate heat in the form of plates. These plates can be finished with plaster, stone, or quartzite. A similar heat effect can be achieved using stove tiles. Additionally, there is the option to use heat recovery modules in the form of discs or channels that extract thermal energy from flue gases before they reach the chimney. These modules, like the encasing plates, are made from materials such as akubet, capable of storing and radiating a significant amount of heat. This encasing safely emits heat into the room through radiation. Radiant heat is healthy and well-absorbed by humans because its thermal wavelength is similar to that of sunlight.
This technology is particularly suitable for new, well-insulated buildings because the slow release of heat prevents overheating of the rooms.

How is a convection fireplace constructed?
The “heart of the fireplace” is the fireplace insert, usually surrounded by insulating silicon-calcium plates. In the fireplace casing, we typically install inlet grilles in the lower part with an appropriate active surface area, and in the upper part, there are grilles or outlet openings.
From here on, it’s all pure physics. We burn wood in the fireplace insert, which heats up and radiates heat into the heating chamber, creating convection – the air warms up and rises. Circulation is established, meaning that cooler air is drawn in through the lower grilles, which pushes the air warmed by the outlet grilles mounted in the fireplace casing.
Is this technology always the best?
In our assessment, not always. This technology is the most economical, requiring minimal knowledge and experience. It’s essential to understand that a convection fireplace releases 100% of the heat during burning. Nowadays, modern homes are well-insulated, requiring minimal heating. A convection fireplace can quickly overheat a room. Therefore, its power and size should be appropriately matched to the environment in which it will operate.
